Support
Need a hand with Tovo? We’re happy to help. Email support@tovo.run and we’ll get back to you, typically within one business day.
Quick start
- Add Tovo to Slack. One click installs the bot; it auto-joins public channels where you run work.
- Start a checklist. Run
/tovo startto pick a template, or mention@tovowith a list in plain English. Add the word “relay” for a sequential hand-off. - Drive it to done. Tap a button or the ⋯ menu: ✅ done · 👀 mine · ⛔ blocked.
For the full walkthrough, see how to use it and the command reference.
Common questions
Tovo isn’t responding to a command
Make sure the app is still installed (Slack → your workspace name → Tools & settings → Manage apps). Slash commands work anywhere; for in-channel runs, the bot needs to be in the channel — it auto-joins public channels, or you can invite it with /invite @tovo.
Mentioning @tovo didn’t create a checklist
Mentioning @tovodoesn’t create anything on its own — it replies with a drafted checklist and waits for you to press Confirm. If no reply appeared at all, the bot probably isn’t in the channel yet (see above). If the draft came back wrong, AI can misread a list: edit your message and mention @tovo again, or start from a saved template with /tovo start, which skips the AI drafting step.
I’m not getting email reminders
DM and email reminders are a paid feature — Free workspaces get in-channel reminders only. Check your plan with /tovo upgrade, and make sure the task has an owner with an email address on their Slack profile. Contact us if they still aren’t arriving on Pro.
I hit my monthly run limit
The Free plan includes a monthly run allowance. Upgrade from Slack with /tovo upgrade to raise or remove the cap — see pricing.
Managing your subscription
View plans and upgrade or change your subscription from Slack with /tovo upgrade. Billing is handled by our Merchant-of-Record payment processor; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the billing period. For invoices or billing issues, email support@tovo.run.
Exporting your data
Run /tovo export and Tovo will DM you a CSV of your runs and tasks (available on the Business plan).
Uninstalling
To remove Tovo, go to Slack → Tools & settings → Manage apps, open Tovo, and choose Remove App. Uninstalling revokes the app’s access; we then delete or anonymize your workspace data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Data & privacy requests
To request a copy or deletion of your data, email support@tovo.run. See our Privacy Policy and Security page for details on how we handle your information.
